All of our adult classes (15+) are open to students of all skill levels. Coaches cover a theme that progresses in each class across the course of a week (e.g. mount attacks). 50% of class time is spent learning technique from instructors with positional sparing to build fluidity in the techniques and 50% participating in live sparring. Sparring rounds are 5 minutes each, with a 60-second break to change partners.
We recommend students bring their own bottle of water as well as a mouth guard for classes which include sparing although this not essential.
In our Gi classes practitioners wear the traditional Gi (kimono) enabling grip-heavy grappling techniques utilising the clothing. These grips facilitate a wide array of exciting techniques and submissions which are not possible in other forms of grappling. Our Gi classes follow our typical class structure and last for 60-90 minutes
View timetableAs the name implies, No-Gi training doesn't involve the use of a Gi uniform. This style of grappling tends to be faster and more dynamic compared to Gi grappling, allowing for positions and submissions not typically permitted or accessible in Gi based training. Our No-Gi classes follow our typical class structure and last for 60-90 minutes
